The 15th Annual All-USA High School Japanese Speech Contest was held on Saturday, May 26, 2018

The Fifteen finalists who participated in the event were selected
from among the top finishers of regional Japanese language speech contests
held across the United States.

1st Place: Consulate General of Japan Award
Jessica Haeji Yoon

2nd Place:
Heewon Huh
「The True Happiness」
Newman Smith High School, Carrolton, TX, 12th Grade
The winner is given a plaque by Fujitsu Frontech North America, Inc.

3rd Place
Hyerin Noh
「Society and Grace」
Crean Lutheran High School, Irvine, CA, 10th Grade
Winner given a plaque by Yakult U.S.A, Inc.

Yoon will represent the U.S.A. students at the 23th Japanese Speech Award (International High School Japanese Language Speech Contest)
which will be held in Japan in July, 2018.
